Investors are even more optimistic than the bank itself, as Goldman Sachs' internal forecast projects a price of around $4,900 by the end of 2026. However, analysts acknowledge that fundamental factors could push prices above their own expectations. The primary driver remains robust demand from central banks, which continue to increase gold reserves while reducing dependence on the dollar. Interest from private investors also remains high, reinforcing gold's status as a traditional safe-haven asset amid global uncertainty.
Despite a correction after hitting a record high of $4,336 on October 30, the metal has shown remarkable resilience. By November 28, prices reached a two-week high, and the rally has continued for four consecutive months. This proves that demand is fueled not just by fears but by market confidence that gold remains one of the few assets capable of thriving in an increasingly blurred macroeconomic stability.
