The US administration and President Biden are deceiving the American people about surging fuel prices, American Thinker columnist Sandra Friedmann wrote. According to the journalist, the American leader is personally responsible for fuel shortages in the country as he was the one to halt the drilling of new oil wells as well as refuse to increase production and implement the XL pipeline project. The columnist asserts that Biden does not want to relieve the burden on Americans and call off the imposed restrictive measure because oil extraction and drilling contradict his environmental policy.
Friedmann also noted that the Biden administration is lying about issuing more oil leases as they are worthless without drilling permits and the withdrawal of stringent environmental regulations.
