At 5.00 am ET Friday, Eurostat has published flash Euro area consumer price data for March. The euro dropped slightly against its major counterparts after the data.
The euro was trading at 135.41 against the yen, 1.1052 against the greenback, 0.8420 against the pound and 1.0211 against the franc around 5:05 am ET.
