The U.S. inflation data for April has been released at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. After the data, the greenback advanced against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 130.41 against the yen, 1.0518 against the euro, 1.2311 against the pound and 0.9933 against the franc around 8:32 am ET.
