Canada consumer inflation for April has been released at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. After the data, the loonie rose against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 1.3473 against the euro, 100.80 against the yen, 0.8992 against the aussie and 1.2807 against the greenback around 8:31 am ET.
