Canada GDP data for the first quarter has been released at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. After the data, the loonie fell against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 1.3571 against the euro, 101.23 against the yen, 0.9088 against the aussie and 1.2685 against the greenback around 8:31 am ET.
