At 2.00 am ET Monday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK monthly GDP, industrial production and foreign trade figures. The pound slipped against its major counterparts after the data.
The pound was trading at 165.51 against the yen, 1.2279 against the greenback, 0.8538 against the euro and 1.2141 against the franc around 2:02 am ET.
