On Friday, it was announced that Brown-Forman Co. has sold its barrel-making business located in Trinity, Alabama to the Independent Stave Company (ISCO). The company reassures that the facility will continue to produce barrels for the Jack Daniel Distillery as part of the strategic partnership formed between the two entities.
Furthermore, in anticipation of its official closing on May 1, 2024, ISCO plans on rebranding the facility to 'the Alabama Cooperage.' Current employees can expect to receive job offers from ISCO to continue their services under the new management.
