The unemployment rate in the Netherlands inched up slightly in April after experiencing a decline in the previous month, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted ILO jobless rate increased to 3.7 percent in April, up from 3.6 percent in March.
In comparison, the unemployment rate stood at 3.4 percent in the same month last year.
The number of unemployed individuals rose to 375,000 in April, an increase from 371,000 in the prior month.
Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, covering the age group of 15-25, remained steady for the second consecutive month at 8.7 percent in April.
