Italy's construction output witnessed a decline for the second consecutive month in March, as per provisional data released by the statistical office Istat on Monday.
In March, construction production fell by 1.9 percent month-on-month, marking an improvement from the 3.0 percent decline observed in the previous month.
The annual growth rate in construction output slowed to a 10-month low of 3.8 percent in March, down from 7.4 percent recorded in the prior month.
On an unadjusted basis, construction production decreased by 5.1 percent compared to the same period last year, following a substantial 12.4 percent increase in February. Notably, this marks the first decline in nearly a year.
