Videndum Plc, listed under VID.L, a global leader in offering premium hardware and software solutions for the burgeoning content creation industry, has announced significant leadership changes. Stephen Bird has stepped down from his role as Group Chief Executive Officer and also from the Board, effective immediately. He has been with the company since 2009. The company has begun the search for a new CEO.
In parallel, Videndum has appointed Stephen Harris as Executive Chairman and Sean Glithero as Group Chief Financial Officer. Both will begin their roles immediately.
Andrea Rigamonti has left the Board but will continue in the company, returning to his previous role of Deputy Group Finance Director. He held this position between October 2021 and December 2022 before serving as Group Chief Financial Officer.
Stephen Harris brings extensive experience, having been CEO at Bodycote plc for over 15 years. He joined Videndum as a non-executive director in November 2023 and became Chairman in May 2024. His non-executive experience includes Senior Independent Director at Mondi plc and non-executive director at Brixton plc.
Sean Glithero has an impressive background as CFO for companies like Auto Trader Group plc, Funding Circle Holdings plc, Matchesfashion, and most recently ASOS plc. He began his career at Ernst & Young, qualifying as a chartered accountant.
Videndum has also announced plans to immediately commence a strategic review and evaluate its reporting structure. A trading update is scheduled for release in late November 2024.
