AAR CORP. (AIR) has finalized an agreement to sell its Landing Gear Overhaul division to GA Telesis. This transaction involves AAR's Miami, Florida-based Landing Gear Overhaul operations, a component of the company's Repair & Engineering sector, which offers comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for landing gear to both commercial and government clients. The deal is valued at $51 million. According to the company, this sale will immediately enhance margins and earnings.
AAR emphasized that this divestiture aligns with its strategic plan to streamline its portfolio by channeling investments into core areas that will drive targeted growth and enhance margin expansion efforts.
