FX.co ★ North Macedonia Industrial Output Rebounds

Industrial production in North Macedonia rose by 5.2% year-on-year in March 2025, recovering from a 0.8% downturn observed the previous month. This represents the most robust growth in industrial activity since October 2023. The increase was largely propelled by a rise in manufacturing output, which climbed by 4.8%, compared to a 1.7% increase in February, and a notable surge in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which jumped 12.9% from 7.7% previously. Additionally, the decline in mining and quarrying output eased to -1.5%, from -4.4% earlier. Evaluating the first quarter of the year, North Macedonia's industrial production was 2% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
