Croatia experienced a decline in its unemployment rate to 4.1% in May 2025, down from 4.6% the previous month, achieving the lowest level since data recording commenced in 1996. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 10.1% compared to the previous month, reaching an unprecedented low of 73,200. Concurrently, employment increased by 1.7%, totaling 1.732 million. Notably, in May 2024, the unemployment rate was higher at 5%.
