FX.co ★ Estonian Producer Prices Drop the Most in 13 Months

In June 2025, Estonia experienced a 1.5% year-on-year decrease in producer prices, contrasting with a 0.5% rise seen in May. This marked the first downturn in producer prices since November of the previous year, and was the most significant drop since May 2024. The decline was primarily attributed to significant reductions in the prices of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, which saw a sharp drop of 35.5% compared to an 8.1% decrease in May. Similarly, prices in the mining and quarrying sector saw a slight dip of 0.2%, compared to a 0.4% increase in May. Conversely, there was an acceleration in the price growth for the water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities at 11.4%, up from 11.2%, and in the manufacturing sector, which rose to 1.3% from 1.1%. On a month-by-month basis, producer prices dropped by 1.4% in June, following a 0.2% increase in May, representing the most significant monthly decline in three months.
