In June 2025, Croatia's unemployment rate dropped to 3.8%, a decrease from 4.1% the previous month. This figure represents the lowest unemployment rate recorded since data collection began in December 1996. The number of unemployed individuals fell by 4.4% compared to the previous month, reducing to a historic low of 70,000. Concurrently, total employment saw an increase of 1.1%, climbing to 1.8 million, with employment figures in legal entities rising by 0.7% to 1.5 million. Within the sector of paid employment in legal entities, significant growth was noted in the accommodation and food service sector (+9%), administrative and support services (+1.2%), and arts, entertainment, and recreation (+1%). For perspective, the unemployment rate in June 2024 was 4.7%.
