In July 2025, Finland's manufacturing confidence indicator increased to -6, up from -9 in June. This represents the highest level since March; however, it is still below the long-term average. There was a notable improvement in production expectations for the next three months, rising to 14 from 5 in June, which slightly surpasses the average of 13. Despite these gains, the order book continued to decline to -30 from -29, remaining significantly below the average of -9. The inventories of finished goods were stable at normal levels, holding at 1 compared to 2 previously. Furthermore, only 55% of respondents indicated they were operating at full capacity, revealing that production capacity remains underutilized. In June, Finland's industrial confidence lagged behind the EU average.
