The Swedish economy experienced a slight growth of 0.1% from one quarter to the next in the second quarter of 2025, following a 0.2% decrease in the first quarter, as indicated by a preliminary estimate. Mattias Kain Wyatt, an economist from Statistics Sweden, noted that despite a dip in May, the economy picked up in June, leading to the modest growth observed over the quarter. Annually, the GDP increased by 0.9% in the quarter ending in June, maintaining the same rate as the previous quarter.
