In June 2025, Mexico's economic activity index showed a year-on-year increase of 1.3%, marking an improvement from the previously stagnant figures of the preceding month. However, this growth fell slightly short of the anticipated 1.5% rise. The agricultural sector emerged as the principal driver of this growth, boasting a significant 4.6% increase. This was complemented by a 2.1% uptick in the services sector, which together compensated for a 0.4% decline in the industrial segment. On a month-to-month basis, adjusted for seasonal variations, economic activity experienced a 0.2% rise in June, following a revised 0.1% growth in the prior month. Evaluating the first half of 2025, Mexico's economic activity expanded by 0.3% compared to the same period the previous year.
