In October 2025, Luxembourg's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 5.9%, down from 6.1% in September, which marked the highest level in over four years. The number of individuals unemployed fell by 511 from the previous month, coming to a total of 18,840. Meanwhile, total employment saw an increase of 1,308, reaching 525,382. The active labor force consisting of Luxembourg nationals expanded by 543 compared to the previous month, totaling 319,130. Additionally, the number of residents working abroad experienced a slight rise to 14,048, and the number of incoming cross-border workers grew by 213, bringing the total to 231,965.
