FX.co ★ Poland Producer Prices at 10-Month Low

Producer prices in Poland experienced a 2.2% year-on-year decline in October 2025, exceeding market expectations of a 1.8% drop. This decline comes after a revised decrease of 1.4% in the prior month and represents the most significant reduction in producer prices since December 2024. The decline was driven by decreased costs in mining and quarrying, which fell by 5.9% compared to 4.4% in September, and manufacturing, down by 2.3% versus 1.4%. Furthermore, the growth rate of prices in the water supply and waste management sectors slightly slowed to 2.3% from 2.4%. However, the decline in costs for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply moderated, easing to a 1% decline from a 1.3% drop in the previous month. On a month-to-month basis, there was a 0.2% reduction in producer prices in October, following a revised decrease of 0.5% in the preceding period.
