Producer prices in Greece experienced a year-on-year decline of 1.4% in October 2025, marking the fourth consecutive month of deflation. The growth in prices decelerated significantly for capital goods, with a rise of 0.8% compared to 1.2% in September, and for durable consumer goods, which increased by 3.1% compared to the previous 4.1%. Meanwhile, energy costs saw a continued decrease, dropping by 2.7% as opposed to a 1.9% fall previously. Conversely, prices rose for intermediate goods, up to 1.7% from 1.6%, and for non-durable consumer goods, which saw a slight increase of 0.2% after remaining unchanged in the previous month. Month-over-month, producer prices decreased by 0.3% in October, overturning a 0.2% increase recorded in the prior period.
