In September 2025, Cyprus witnessed a notable increase in industrial production, registering a 4.7% rise compared to the same month in the previous year. This came after a revised upward growth of 0.9% in August. It represents the most significant growth since February, driven by a substantial uptick in manufacturing output, which surged 4.7% from the previous month's 1.9%. Additionally, the water supply and materials recovery sector showed significant progress, increasing by 5.6% compared to August's 2.8%. The mining and quarrying, as well as electricity supply, both experienced a rebound, with outputs climbing 0.5% and 5.3%, respectively, after a decline of 2.6% in both sectors the previous month. Cumulatively, for the period from January to September 2025, industrial output rose by 3.0% compared to the same timeframe the previous year.
