In October 2025, Ukraine's current account deficit remained relatively stable at USD 2.07 billion compared to USD 2.12 billion in the same month the previous year, marking the smallest monthly deficit since April. The surplus in secondary income experienced a substantial rise, reaching USD 3.10 billion from USD 1.22 billion. The services deficit remained steady at USD 0.55 billion, slightly higher than the previous year's USD 0.53 billion. Conversely, there was a significant increase in the goods deficit, which expanded to USD 4.52 billion from USD 2.80 billion. Analyzing the January to October period, the current account deficit grew to USD 26.91 billion from USD 14.07 billion during the corresponding period in 2024.
