FX.co ★ Irish Services Growth Hits 3½-Year High

The AIB Ireland Services PMI increased to 58.5 in November 2025, up from 56.7 in the previous month, continuing to exceed the long-term survey average of 55.0, observed since 2000. This development marks the swiftest growth in the sector since May 2022, driven by a fourth consecutive month of accelerated new business growth, reaching its highest rate since April 2022. All four segments reported significant rises in new business, with financial services leading the charge, and new export orders also experiencing a robust increase. In response to the heightened demand and anticipated company expansions, employment rose, with job creation witnessing its fastest increase since March. Regarding pricing dynamics, input costs continued to climb, influenced by rising wages, service charges, energy prices, insurance, and pension costs. Nonetheless, the rate of input cost inflation eased to a three-month low, while output price inflation surged to a ten-month high. Overall, business sentiment improved, buoyed by stronger demand, planned investments, and a general sense of market optimism.
