In the third quarter of 2025, Ghana experienced a 5.5% year-on-year economic growth, a deceleration from the revised 6.5% growth noted in the second quarter. This marks the most sluggish expansion rate since the third quarter of 2024. Industrial growth significantly decreased, registering a growth rate of 0.8%, down from 2.3%. The services sector also saw a moderation, with growth easing to 7.6% from the previous 9.6%, although it continued to demonstrate strong performance. On the other hand, agricultural activity showed heightened strength, increasing to 8.6% from 7.1%, driven largely by advancements in the fishing sector.
