In September 2025, US exports of goods and services saw a 3% increase, reaching a five-month high of $289.3 billion. The export of goods experienced an $8.8 billion rise, totaling $187.6 billion. This surge was predominantly fueled by a $6.1 billion increase in nonmonetary gold and a $3.1 billion boost in pharmaceutical preparations, although there was a $2.3 billion decline in computer exports. Conversely, service exports experienced a modest decrease of $0.4 billion, bringing the total down to $101.7 billion for the month. While travel services declined by $0.6 billion and transport services by $0.2 billion, financial services saw a $0.3 billion increase.
