The expansion in spending encompassed both durable goods, which saw a 0.7% rise to $2.30 trillion, and non-durable goods, which also climbed by 0.7% to $4.33 trillion. Furthermore, expenditure on services saw an uptick of 0.4%, amounting to $14.79 trillion.
