The Euro Zone’s broad money supply (M3) continued its gradual expansion in December 2025, signaling a steady pace of monetary conditions in the single-currency area. According to the latest data updated on 29 January 2026, M3 rose to 17,230.7 billion euros, up from 17,189.3 billion euros recorded in November 2025.
The increase in the M3 aggregate — which encompasses cash in circulation, deposits, and other liquid assets — suggests that liquidity in the Euro Zone banking system remained ample at the end of 2025.
