On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the “actual” reading for the fourth quarter compares GDP growth to the third quarter of 2025, while the “previous” reading refers to the third quarter’s change against the second quarter of 2025. In both cases, the economy registered the same 0.8% expansion, underscoring a period of consistent short-term growth for Portugal heading into 2026.
