Poland’s economy expanded by 4.0% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, a slight acceleration from the previously recorded 3.8% in the same period. The updated figures, released on 2 March 2026, indicate that the country managed to strengthen its growth momentum toward the end of 2025.
Both the current and previous readings are based on year-on-year comparisons, measuring GDP growth in the fourth quarter against the corresponding quarter a year earlier. While the increase from 3.8% to 4.0% is modest, it underscores a continued expansion of economic activity in Poland as the year drew to a close.
