The Capesize Index, which tracks vessels carrying about 150,000 tons of cargo such as iron ore and coal, climbed 2.5% to 4,128, reaching its highest level in more than four months. The Panamax Index, a benchmark for vessels typically transporting 60,000 to 70,000 tons of coal or grain, inched up 0.3% to 1,975, its strongest level since early March.
