Estonia’s industrial sector contracted further in April 2026, with output declining 3.80% year-over-year, according to data updated on 4 June 2026. The latest reading marks a deterioration from March 2026, when industrial production fell 2.90% compared with the same month a year earlier.
The figures highlight a worsening annual performance in Estonia’s industry, as the April result shows a steeper decline than the previous month’s year-over-year change. Both indicators are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing the respective month’s industrial output to that of the same month in the prior year.
