Turkey’s manufacturing confidence index rose to 103.50 in June 2026 from 103.30 a month earlier, reaching its highest level since February. The improvement was largely driven by stronger expectations for production and investment. Output projections for the next three months climbed to 117.6 from 114.3, while planned fixed investment expenditure increased to 112.4 from 109.8.
Firms also reported a modest improvement in demand conditions. Total orders over the past three months inched up to 106.6 from 105.5, and expectations for total orders over the next three months rose to 106.6 from 105.4. Current order levels improved slightly, with the corresponding index moving to 88.4 from 87.5. However, expectations for export orders weakened somewhat, slipping to 112.5 from 116.3.
Employment expectations eased marginally to 103.9 from 105.4, indicating a more cautious stance on hiring. At the same time, inventories of finished goods fell to 95.8 from 97.4, while sentiment regarding the general business situation improved slightly, with the related index edging up to 90.9 from 90.4.
