Spain’s seasonally adjusted industrial confidence indicator rose to -2.4 in June 2026 from -3.7 in May, reaching its highest level since September 2024. Production expectations rebounded sharply (to -4.5 from -11.5 in May), and stock levels increased at a faster pace (4.3 vs 2.6). These improvements came despite a further deterioration in both total new orders (-7.3 vs -6.9) and export orders (-15.1 vs -14.9). At the same time, the inflation outlook improved, with firms expecting price pressures to ease (10.4 vs 18.7).
