In June 2026, average hourly earnings for all employees on US private nonfarm payrolls increased by 13 cents, or 0.3%, to $37.64. This matched both the pace recorded in May and market expectations.
For private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees, average hourly earnings rose by 7 cents, or 0.2%, to $32.38 in June.
On a year-over-year basis, average hourly earnings were up 3.5% in June, following a 3.4% increase in May, in line with market estimates.
