The July reading, updated on 09 July 2026, reflects a comparison with the previous month, in line with the PCSI’s methodology, which tracks how the current month’s sentiment changes relative to the prior month. The June figure of 48.16 itself represented the outcome of the earlier month-over-month comparison between May and June.
While still hovering just below the neutral 50-point line that typically separates pessimism from optimism, the uptick to 49.16 suggests a gradual firming in Polish consumers’ outlook as the summer progresses.
