Mexico's manufacturing business confidence remained unchanged at 48.0 in July 2026, staying below the 50-point threshold for the 17th straight month. Firms' assessment of the country's current economic situation inched up by 0.2 points to 48.3, while their expectations for the economy improved by 0.3 points to 52.1. In contrast, the indicator reflecting whether it is the "right time to invest" declined by 1.4 points to 32.9. At the same time, manufacturers' views of their current business conditions rose by 0.2 points to 50.5, and their expectations for future business conditions strengthened by 0.5 points to 56.2.
