Taiwan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.33% in July 2026, unchanged from June. The number of unemployed persons also held steady at 401,000. Youth unemployment among those aged 15–24 inched up to 11.71%, from 11.57% in the previous month. Meanwhile, total employment declined by 2,000 to 11.646 million.
The labor force participation rate was virtually flat, at 59.59% in July compared with a four-month high of 59.60% in June. In July 2025, the unemployment rate was likewise 3.33%.
