FX.co ★ Czechia Business Confidence Falls to 9-Month Low

The Czech Republic’s business confidence indicator declined to 98.4 in September 2026, down from 100.2 in each of the previous two months, marking its lowest level since December 2025. The sharpest deterioration was recorded in selected services, where confidence fell by 2.3 points to 99.9, slipping just below its long-term average for the first time since October 2024. Sentiment in industry also weakened, dropping by 2.0 points to a four-month low of 96.1, while confidence in the construction sector edged down by 0.6 points to 112.0. In contrast, trade sentiment improved, rising by 1.7 points to a five-month high of 93.9.
