Indonesia Home Price Growth Slowest on Record

Residential property prices in Indonesia rose by 0.58% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2026, slowing from a 0.69% increase in the previous quarter. This was the weakest growth since the data series began in 2023, reflecting subdued demand and declining sales across all housing segments.

By housing category, annual price growth eased for medium-sized units to 0.63% (from 0.83% in Q2) and for large units to 0.57% (from 0.68%), while price growth for small houses picked up to 0.55% (from 0.49%).

Of the 18 cities surveyed, seven recorded slower year-on-year price increases. Pontianak posted a 1.49% rise, down from 2.35% in Q2, while Yogyakarta registered a 0.05% decline after a 0.77% gain in the previous quarter.
