1. Denver International Airport

The United States largest airport spreads over 13726 ha and is known the best airport in North America. It has special importance because many major airlines land here like Great Lakes Airlines, United Airlines, Frontier Airlines. Denver International Airport is really different from many air terminals of the planet by its design – the airport building is decorated with a group of white tents, similar to snow-capped peaks. In the terminals travelers are offered shoe polishing stations, FedEx offices, a cafe with organic products and food and a permanent works of art collection. Also, If you're a nervous flyer, resist a pre-flight tipple and opt for some dog love instead. Denver airport's Canine Airport Therapy Squad comprises 28 therapy dogs who roam the airport, searching for nervous flyers in need of a furry hug.

2. Mumbai airport

The design of the second terminal of the Mumbai airport appeals to almost all tourists. Futuristic columns and traditional Indian features make travelers to reach for the cameras and take photo. In the terminal there are several business zones, the interior of which resembles the magnificent halls of the best hotels. The air gate also have a spa, a café and a sports bar.

3. Hamad International Airport

Hamad International Airport is the international airport for Doha, capital city of Qatar. The existing terminal can accommodate up to 30 million passengers annually, and has been described as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world, as well as being the most luxurious. The hotel, located in the airport building, boasts a wellness center and boutiques of the world famous brands. Rooms are rented for a day or for five hours. For business class passengers the airport provides a free shower room, a rest bed, fine food and drinks.

4. Wellington International Airport, The Rock Terminal

Perhaps, the most unusual terminal of the list is the Wellington International Airport, the Rock Terminal. There's nothing bland or business-like about the design, which takes its inspiration from a series of boulders along Wellington's south coast. Both the interior and exterior of the terminal are clad in folding sheets of copper and mimic the design of the boulder. The design does it have its critics, though, who say it looks a lot like a bunch of pumpkins.

5. Pulkovo Airport

The Pulkovo Airport entered the top five most amazing airports around the globe. The terminal of the domestic airport was restored in 2013. The interior of the new airport was designed by Grimshaw Architects and directly correlates with the designs and style of Saint Petersburg city. The new Terminal also sought many artistic sculptures and paintings to give a sense of thriving culture to passengers. The fiber figures of angels with airplanes' wings decorate the departure hall.
