Sweden

The sixth place is taken by Sweden. The highest marks were received for providing the basic needs, medical care and respect for personal freedoms.

The Netherlands takes the eighth position by level of Social Progress Index. The country has the highest scores on such categories as personal freedoms and freedom of choice.

The ninth place of the rating is occupied by Great Britain. Its readings on the basic medical care are the highest among other countries. Education is also at a very good level.

Iceland

Iceland closes the list of the countries with a high standard of living. It has the perfect scores on the basic human needs, and GDP per capita is at a decent level.
