United Airlines Holdings

United Airlines Holdings, one of the world’s biggest airlines, tops the ranking. Five years ago, its reputation was shattered after an infamous incident. Due to the lack of seats, the company's security dragged a Chinese doctor off the plane. Such rude behavior of members of its staff perturbed the entire world. Interestingly, United Airlines is constantly the epicenter of high-profile scandals, which disrupts its public image even more.

Chrysler

Nowadays, the legendary US automaker is part of Stellantis NV, a transnational corporation producing cars under 14 brands. Unfortunately, the merger did not benefit Chrysler. The company's products are constantly criticized. Buyers bash Chrysler cars for their poor design and complex technology. According to a recent study conducted in the US, Chrysler is one of the worst-quality brands with problems per car exceeding 250, while the industry's overall average score is 162.

Meta Platforms

In 2021, Mark Zuckerberg’s brainchild Facebook became Meta Platforms. The rebranding was perceived by many as an attempt to eliminate the negative impression of the firm. In 2018, Facebook was involved in a high-profile scandal with Cambridge Analytica, a consulting agency that allegedly used personal data of social network users during election campaigns. This headline-making case haunts Meta to this day. Numerous opinion polls show that users no longer trust Zuckerberg's company.

Bank of America

Americans started disliking most of the banks in the US when it became known that they had been involved in the so-called housing bubble and the credit default swap fiasco. However, the most detested bank of all is Bank of America. People still can’t forgive the scandal involving the bank that broke out in the early 2000s. BofA was then accused of defrauding investors. In the midst of the global financial crisis, the bank acquired Merrill Lynch and deliberately kept silent about the issuer's problems.

Dish Network, a satellite operator, is another company that makes Americans feel strong resentment. In general, its customers are dissatisfied with the low quality of the image and the absence of the most popular channels in the package. On top of that, people still can’t forget a rather high-profile lawsuit involving Dish Network. The company was accused of making telemarketing calls, which are prohibited in some US states.
