Putin's four-legged friends
Last Wednesday, December 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with the Japanese journalists of Nippon TV and the newspaper Yomiuri. At the meeting the head of the state was with his dog of the akita inu breed named Ume.
The four-legged friend is very dear to the president. Four years ago, this dog was presented the Russian leader by Governor of Akita prefecture Norihisa Satake.
Besides Ume, Vladimir Putin also has the Bulgarian shepherd Buffy (in the photo).
The most famous dog of Vladimir Putin is the labrador Konni.

Eight years ago, the head of the state had an unusual present for his birthday - Amur tiger cub. However, after some time the little tiger was sent to the zoo of Gelendzik.
- The Russian leader does not withdraw from participation in the ecological projects. In 2012, he helped to protect a rare species of cranes - Siberian crane - within the project "Hope's flight". The birds, who were raised in the kennel, needed help to define the migratory routes, and the president was pretty good at it.
