FX.co ★ A new nuclear submarine is launched in the USA

Last Sunday, in the USA there was held a ceremony of commissioning of the Navy's nuclear submarine "Illinois". It took 5 years to built this submarine. It cost $2.7 billion.

First Lady of the country Michelle Obama attended the ceremony of commissioning the "Illinois" (in the photo).

No single commemorative event is complete without a national flag. During the event, a team of sailors reinforced the flag on the submarine.

The wife of the US president welcomed the leadership and the crew of "Illinois". In addition, a solemn speech on military duty and service to the Motherland was made.

Submarines of "Illinois" type are designed for littoral combat operations. They can also be used in the battles under water.
