FX.co ★ Tornado jet to join mission against IGIL

Germany’s parliament approved a broad non-combat mission to provide support to the US-led coalition flying airstrikes against the militants. Contributing to the campaign in Syria, Germany is deploying two Tornado reconnaissance jets, refuelling aircraft, a frigate, and a maximum contingent of 1,200 soldiers to the region as support troops in Turkey. Besides, Germany is planning to carry out reconnaissance from a space satellite.
