Hello traders, The GBP/USD pair has reached a strong resistance area around 1.3440 - 1.3420. The indicators at the bottom have started to shift towards a downward direction. The news on the calendar for Monday is mostly neutral, indicating that we should not expect much volatility at the beginning of the week. However, there should be sufficient volatility throughout the week. There will be news on Thursday regarding the interest rate, which is expected to decrease from 4.00 to 3.75. Any decrease in the interest rate has a negative impact on the currency exchange rate. Overall, the week is expected to be quite eventful in terms of news, so we can anticipate some good price movements. For now, I am waiting for the price to decrease towards the support at 1.3267.
