Good day, colleagues! Friday turned out to be unusually volatile for the currency pair USD/JPY, moving almost 350 pips during the day with an average ATR of 58 pips. As a result, a new high was reached on Friday at 158.43. After the interest rate announcement in the morning, the price surged upwards, then during the European session, a sharp drop occurred down to the level of 155.00, likely to shake out weak hands before a new upward movement.
