GBP/USD H1 Technical Outlook GBP/USD is trading around 1.35436 on the H1 chart, showing a period of consolidation after recovering strongly from the 1.3480–1.3500 area. Price has moved back above the short-term moving average and is currently holding close to the 1.3540–1.3550 region, suggesting that buyers retain a slight advantage, although momentum remains limited. The recent structure shows repeated attempts to break higher toward 1.3553–1.3560, but bullish moves have faced resistance in this area. A sustained hourly close above 1.3555 would strengthen the bullish outlook and could open the way toward 1.3575, followed by the psychological 1.3600 level. If buying pressure increases and the pair establishes higher highs, the broader recovery structure could gain momentum. On the downside, immediate support is located around 1.3530–1.3525, where recent price action and the moving average provide short-term support. A break below this zone could trigger a deeper correction toward 1.3505–1.3500. Further weakness below 1.3500 would shift the short-term structure more bearish, with 1.3480 becoming the next important support area. The RSI(14) is around 52.65, indicating neutral-to-mildly bullish momentum. The indicator remains comfortably above 50 but is far from overbought territory. This leaves room for additional upside if buyers regain control, while also showing that the market currently lacks strong directional momentum. Traders should therefore watch for an RSI move above 60 alongside a confirmed price breakout for stronger bullish confirmation. Overall, the H1 outlook is neutral-to-bullish while price holds above 1.3525–1.3530. A break and close above 1.3555–1.3560 would provide a potential bullish continuation signal, targeting 1.3575 and 1.3600. Conversely, a sustained move below 1.3525 would weaken the setup and expose 1.3500 and potentially 1.3480. Key levels: Resistance: 1.3555–1.3560, 1.3575, 1.3600 Support: 1.3530, 1.3500, 1.3480 RSI: 52.65 — neutral/bullish Bias: Neutral-to-bullish above 1.3525
